ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES (INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS)

ABOUT THE COURSE

Develop your English language skills through our international study programmes

Our English Language courses are for people who speak English as a second or other language and wish to improve their skills at Beginner, Elementary/Pre-intermediate, Intermediate or Upper Intermediate levels.

Each level is carefully structured to help you:

  • Improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills
  • Develop your confidence to communicate in English in different situations (e.g. work, study, life in London)

Our teachers are very experienced and they use the most up-to-date materials and a variety of approaches to make sure that your classes are interesting, motivating and effective. Classes include group, pair and project work as well as computer-based activities. Each centre also has a fully equipped Learning Resource Centre, which you are encouraged to use.

CLASS SIZE

You will learn with students from different nationalities who have a similar level of English. Our maximum class size is 24, but the average number of students is 18 and some classes are smaller.

NUMBER OF HOURS PER WEEK

Full-time English classes run up to 16 hours per week at our Regents Park Centre , in the heart of London. Part-time courses are also available. As we agree on a timetable to suit your needs, you will usually have more than one teacher.

ASSESSMENT
  • You will be assessed through regular homework during the course, as well as taking an end-of-course test. We are also able to offer an accredited ESOL Examination (English Speaking Board or Trinity) in December, March/April and July, if required.
ENTRY REQUIREMENT

You must be aged 18 years or older to take this course. You will need to complete a short test so that we can assess your level of English to ensure that you join a class that is right for you.
