ABOUT THE COURSE

We offer a range of maths courses to help you develop the number skills you need for work and everyday life – even if you’ve been out of education for a while. We will ask you to complete an assessment to help us choose the right level of teaching for you. Functional Skills are widely recognised across all sectors of employment and can be a stepping stone to GCSE.

WHAT WILL I STUDY?

You will take part in a range of activities to refresh and develop your maths skills, building your confidence in dealing with numbers, including money, measurements and graphs.

All applicants must have an initial assessment and interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.

HOW WILL I BE ASSESSED?

You will be assessed through a range of classwork tasks and final exams at the end of the course.
