How do online lessons work?

Lessons are completed on our online learning platform where you can access videos and quizzes. We teach in group classes with qualified British teachers. You will speak to your teacher while completing activities and practice questions on your laptop, smartphone or tablet.

What time are classes?

Our Life in the UK training timetable is Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays (twice a day).

Tuesdays: 9:30-10:30 am and 7-8 pm
Wednesdays: 9:30-10:30 am and 7-8 pm
Thursdays: 9:30-10:30 am and 7-8 pm
Saturdays: 4-5 pm
Sundays: 4-5 pm

What if I miss a class?

We understand that sometimes things come up, so each class is recorded and available for 30 days. If you miss a class, you can always catch up by watching the recording.

What about 1:1 training options?

We offer flexible 1:1 training options to fit around your work schedule. The training is 8 hours long and led by one of our experienced teachers. You can schedule the training session any day of the week, Monday to Sunday, from 8 am to late evening.

When does the course start?

Whenever you want! Our 1:1 courses are from Monday-Sunday 8 am-8 pm with additional times available if you are busy. Group lessons are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (9:30 -10:30 am and 7-8 pm), Saturdays and Sundays (4-5 pm). When you first register, you will instantly have access to all of our training materials and videos. A teacher will contact you to arrange your training times within 24 hours.

How long does the course take?

On average it takes around 5 weeks to prepare each student to pass the exam. The course is flexible however and some students can pass in as little as 2-3 weeks while others may take up to 4-6 weeks. If you require a faster turnaround please contact our main support team.

How much does it cost?

We offer two pricing options for our courses – £250 for unlimited group lessons and £395 for 8 hours of private lessons with a dedicated teacher. The group lessons are 10 hours per week and are scheduled every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 – 11:30 am and 7-8 pm. Both the group and private lessons include access to all the materials in our homework area, 40 hours of monthly teaching, and personalised feedback from your teacher to help you improve your performance. If you feel the need for additional 1:1 private lessons, you can always upgrade your course.

Do you offer a fast-track service?

Yes, we offer a 1-day or 1-week fast track course priced at £475, which comprises 8 hours of intensive training with a teacher, followed by the test. We will help you book your test when you are ready but you must pay for the exam yourself.

Is this training suitable for the Life in the UK test?

Yes, passing the Life in the UK test is a requirement to get your indefinite leave to remain and British citizenship. Once you have passed your Life in the UK and B1 English test you will be able to apply for indefinite leave to remain and citizenship.

Each student must feel confident that their teacher will support them even if they fail. As a result, all students receive unlimited group training until they pass their exam as standard.

Are all the materials included in this course?

Yes, all training materials needed to pass your Life in the UK test first time are included in this online training course. We include 600+ questions on our Fast Track Dashboard area which your teacher will check and give feedback, 35 quizzes, 35 videos, history presentations and special question and answer sheets accurate to the real test.
